ENTRY #1 - a12086256

Pangoro V

Basic / Fighting / 220 HP

Ability: Mold Breaker
Once during your turn, you may discard the top 5 cards of your deck, and attach any Energy cards you discarded in this way to your Benched [F] Pokémon in any way you like. If you use this Ability, your turn ends.

[F][F][F] Parting Shot 100+
If there is any Stadium card in play, this attack does 100 more damage. Then, discard that Stadium card.

Weakness: Psychic
Resistance: -
Retreat Cost: 2

Stow-on-Side

Trainer / Stadium

Each Pokémon that has any [F] Energy attached to it (both yours and your opponent's) has no Retreat Cost.
COMMENTS

Pangoro V's HP is equal to Zacian V's and likewise has a powerful ability which ends your turn. I thought it would be fitting for Pangoro's Mold Breaker ability to be functionally the same as the supporter card Bea. Pangoro's Parting Shot I think would work well as a late game attack after you don't need a stadium in play any more.

Stow-on-Side I think would be a good stadium for fighting decks as one of the drawbacks of many fighting pokemon is high retreat costs.
ENTRY #2 - TheRawPotatoe

Excadrill

Stage-1 / Fighting / 130 HP

Ability: Fissure

Flip 2 coins, if both of them are heads, deal 120 damage to one of your opponent's Pokemon(don't apply Weakness or Resistance to your opponent's benched Pokemon).

[F] Dig 30
Flip a coin. If heads, during your opponent's next turn, prevent all damage from and effects of attacks done to this Pokemon.

Weakness: -
Resistance: -
Retreat Cost: -
Picture

Miner's Delight

Trainer / Supporter

Draw 2 cards, during this turn, all your Pokemon with the "Dig" attack will always flip heads.
Picture
ENTRY #3 - Hyla

Falinks VMAX

VMAX / Fighting / 300 HP

Ability:
MAX Defense
When one of your other Rule Box Pokémon with "Falinks" in its name is Knocked Out, your opponent takes one fewer prize card. You can't apply more than one "Max Defence" ability at a time.

[F][F][F] Max Coliseum 150
Until the end of your next turn, the retreat cost of all Pokémon becomes [C][C][C][C], other effects that modify retreat cost are negated, and neither player can play cards which include an effect which switches their Active Pokémon with a Benched Pokémon.

Weakness: Psychic
Resistance: -
Retreat Cost: 2

Veteran's Sacrifice

Trainer / Stadium

Move up to two energy from one of your damaged Rule Box Pokémon to one of your undamaged Pokémon. Then, Knock Out the damaged Pokémon to search your deck for up to three different cards with the same species name.
COMMENTS

300HP is the lowest for a VMAX, set in part due to the damage reduction of Falinks V.

MAX Defence's restrictions prevent cases of the opponent taking 0 prizes for a KO (outside of e.g. Life Dew). Additionally, two VMAXes are needed to give each other protection, maintaining the "additive benefit"/"swarm" theme seen on Falinks and Falinks V.

Max Coliseum is loosely based on No Retreat, the signature move of Falinks in the video games. It allows players to use cards like Boss's Orders, but not Escape Rope. In addition to good matchups against Fighting-weak decks, this slows the assault of Zacian V decks by forcing them to spend four energy to circumvent Brave Blade's restriction.

The support card is best used on a Falinks V that is suffering from the drawback of Giga Impact. It leaves the active, transfers energy, and gets to not only replace itself but also gives the owner access to a Falinks VMAX and baby Falinks. With MAX Defence, you only give up one prize.

The supporter is meant to give off a feeling losing a battle to win the war. This "advanced" tactic best fits Veterans, the most experienced Trainer Class.
ENTRY #4 - Valkyria [RABIDRAGON's CHOICE]

Machamp

Stage-2 / Fighting / 160 HP

Ability:
Hecatoncheire Hero
You may only use this ability once per game, and only if you have four or more Machamps in play. This turn, your Machamp may attack 4 times.

[F][F][F][F] Fists of Fury 100x
Flip 4 coins. This attack does 100 damage times the number of heads.

Weakness: Psychic
Resistance: -
Retreat Cost: 3
Picture

Bea Champion

Trainer / Stadium

Select 1 of your Pokemon in play. This turn, each Stage 2 Pokemon in play, in each player's hand, and each player's discard pile is treated as having that Pokemon's name.
Picture
COMMENTS

At first glance, this Machamp is a terrible card. It's a Stage 2, has an ability that will almost never see play, and requires 4 fighting energy to attack. However, to the skilled deckbuilder, the possibilities are limitless. The Supporter card Bea Champion has a unique effect where every Stage 2 Pokemon has their name treated as your selected Pokemon for the turn, allowing you to more easily activate Machamp's ability. And with Super Boost Energy, you can attack with a single energy card allowing you to set up the One Turn Kill.

Now here's the kicker. Bea Champion changes all Stage 2 Pokemon to the Pokemon you select, and Machamp's ability allows any "Machamp" to attack 4 times. This allows you to customize your deck and have many variations depending on which Stage 2 Pokemon you want to be your OTKer.

I wanted to design something that is fun, competitive, but also balanced. I imagine that the inconsistency of getting out 4 Stage 2 Pokemon would squarely put this deck in the rogue category. However, there's nothing more satisfying than pulling off something difficult and winning in style.
ENTRY #5 - Terraflame

Landorus V

Basic / Fighting / 220 HP

Ability: Abundant Harvest

Once during your turn (before your attack), you may attach up to 2 [F] energy cards from your discard pile to any number of your Benched [F] Pokémon. For each [F] energy card that is attached, put 1 damage counter on this Pokémon. You may not use more than 1 Abundant Harvest Ability each turn.

[F][C] Earth's Fury 30+
This attack does 10 more damage for each damage counter on this Pokémon.

Weakness: Water
Resistance: -
Retreat Cost: 2

Reveal Glass

Trainer / Item / Tool

As long as this card is attached to a Pokémon with Landorus in its name, your [F] Pokémon take 40 less damage from your opponent’s attacks (after applying Weakness and Resistance). Only 1 Reveal Glass effect may be applied at a time.

If this card is attached to a Pokémon that does not have Landorus in its name, discard this card.
COMMENTS

While thinking of a card concept, one thing I realized Fighting type Pokémon have struggled with is energy acceleration, so what better Pokémon to provide its allies with energy than Landorus, the Abundance Pokémon?

While Abundant Harvest accelerates energy very quickly, the drawback of having to damage itself leaves it prone to bench snipers such as Cramorant V. However, if you can avoid this, then Landorus’s attack synergizes nicely, doing more damage the more counters it has on itself. This attack can easily snowball and allow you to take cheap KOs on your opponent.

In the video games, the Reveal Glass is an item that can change certain Pokémon into their Therian Forms, including Landorus. The Therian Form of Landorus is infamous for its power and Intimidate ability in the VGC, so I tried to replicate this into the TCG. Intimidate lowers the opponent’s Pokémon’s attack stat, so the Reveal Glass card lowers the damage your opponent can do.
ENTRY #6 - Banuken

Gigalith

Stage-2 / Fighting / 170 HP

Ability: Hidden Gem

Once during your turn, if the number of cards in your hand is equal to the number of your remaining Prize cards, you may play this Pokemon onto your Bench. If you do, discard your hand and draw 3 cards.

[F] Heavy Artillery 10+
This attack does 10 more damage for each [C] in the Retreat Cost of all Pokemon in your discard pile.

Weakness: Grass
Resistance: -
Retreat Cost: 4
Picture

Boulder Energy

Special Energy

This card can only be attached to [F] Pokémon. This card provides [F] Energy only while this card is attached to a [F] Pokémon.

Prevent all damage done to this Pokémon by attacks from Pokémon with less cards attached than the number of [C] in the Retreat Cost of this Pokémon.
COMMENTS

A good Gigalith is long due! This one can be cheated into play faster than an usual Stage 2, a bit like VV Beedrill. Its ability helps at discarding too which becomes useful for the attack. That one can reach high numbers in the right deck and could do pretty well paired with fellow 1-prizer CEC Steelix.

Boulder Energy would help that deck... but only the Fighting half of it, because it is worded in the old exclusive fashion. Attached to Gigalith this energy would make it immune to anything with less than 3 energies and a Tool attached. Bring your Sword to the fight Zacian V!
ENTRY #7 - Devoxys

Gliscor V

Basic / Fighting / 190 HP

Ability: Defog

When you play this Pokémon from your hand onto your Bench during your turn, remove all effects of attacks on each player and their Pokémon.

[F][C] Stealth Rock
For the rest of this game, whenever your opponent puts a Rule Box Pokémon from their hand onto their Bench (evolving does not count), put damage counters on that Pokémon as follows: if that Pokémon has a Weakness to [F], put 10 damage counters on it; if that Pokémon has a Resistance to [F], put 2 damage counters on it; otherwise, put 5 damage counters on it.

Weakness: Grass
Resistance: -
Retreat Cost: 1

Bertha

Trainer / Supporter

Until the end of your opponent's next turn, each Pokémon in play or in each player's hand is weak to [F]. Ignore any existing Weaknesses or Resistances.
COMMENTS

Gliscor and Bertha brings entry hazards and all its related shenanigans into the TCG! In the video games, especially singles, entry hazards like Stealth Rock and Spikes terrorize the metagame. 4x weak to Rock types Charizard lost 50% of their HP upon switching into Stealth Rocks (until they got boots in Gen 8). Stealth Rock here captures that effect: Rule Box Pokemon weak to Fighting take a lot of damage, those resistant only take a little. Bertha helps by making everything weak to Fighting for a turn (to help with rulings, any existing weaknesses and resistances are ignored). It is a strong effect, so it requires [F][C], but being able to knock Crobats to 80 HP and Dedenne-GX to 60 is very powerful. In the games, entry hazards on both sides of the field and certain lingering effects can be cleared with Defog. Defog has a Pokemon Ranger effect to reflect this. However, be careful as it removes Stealth Rock and Bertha if they have been used already.
ENTRY #8 - Tinytwist

Buzzwole V

Basic / Ultra Beast / Fighting / 230 HP

Ability:
Beast Grace
When your opponent is on 5, 3, 1 prizes you may accelerate an energy from your discard pile to one of your [F] pokemon.

[F] Sledgehammer V-Blow 120+
If your opponent drew more than one prize card on their previous turn, this attack does 140 more damage

Weakness: Psychic
Resistance: -
Retreat Cost: 2

Beast Blend

Special Energy

This card provides every type of energy, one at a time. Only when attached to an ultra beast pokemon.
COMMENTS

This card is very much based on mind games and playing around prize cards. The energy is a nerfed beast energy ill admit.
ENTRY #9 - Bca7903

Machamp & Corsola GX

Basic / TAG TEAM / Fighting / 270 HP

Ability: Rocky Terrain

When you play this Pokemon from your hand to your bench, you may put 1 damage counter on each of your opponent's pokemon. If you do this, put one damage counter on this Pokemon for each one you put on with this ability.

[F][F][C] Power-Filled Punch 130+
This attack does 30 more damage for each damage counter on your opponent's active Pokemon.

Weakness: Fighting
Resistance: -
Retreat Cost: 3

Scattering Energy

Special Energy

When you attach this energy to one of your Pokemon, you may move up to three damage counters from one of your opponent's Pokemon to another one of their Pokemon.
COMMENTS

Since Corsola is a rock type and Machamp is fighting, they can be a really weird tag team card! I figured Corsola would spread damage around, and Machamp would use that damage to hit with a powerful punch. The special energy helps to boost Machamp's attack further, adding potentially 90 damage to the attack!
ENTRY #10 - Scootysauce

Machamp V

Basic / Fighting / 210 HP

Ability: Enraged Throw

Once during your turn, you may discard a Pokémon from your hand. If you do, put 2 damage counters on your opponent's active Pokémon for each Retreat Cost on the discarded Pokémon.

[F][F][C] Final Blow 90
If your opponent's Active Pokémon has 12 or more damage counters on it this attack does 140 more damage.

Weakness: Psychic
Resistance: -
Retreat Cost: 3

Champion's Belt

Trainer / Item / Tool

If you have more Prize cards remaining than your opponent, then the Fighting Pokémon this card is attached gets +10 HP and does 30 more damage to your opponent's Active Pokémon. (before applying Weakness or Resistance)
COMMENTS

Machamp is eventually going to get a V/VMAX so I thought making the V somewhat viable would be nice. The Champion's Belt item is somewhat similar to Karate belt but could be used to get that extra damage to knock out a tag team or vmax.
ENTRY #11 - Emergency-boat

Anorith

Restored / Fighting / 90 HP

Ability: Restoration Swap

Once during your turn, you may put a restored pokemon from your discard pile onto your bench. If you do, discard all cards attached to this pokemon and put on the bottom of your deck.

[C] Prehistoric Call
Search your deck for 3 trainer cards with "fossil" in their name and put them in your hand.

Weakness: Lighting
Resistance: Water
Retreat Cost: 1

Contaminated Lab

Trainer / Stadium

Once during each player's turn, that player may search their deck for up to 2 restored pokemon and put them in the discard pile. That player shuffles their deck afterwards.
COMMENTS

I want to make restored pokemon better, and i'm also fascinated by history a lot of the times so yea.
ENTRY #12 - McSun213

Galarian Farfetch'd

Basic / Fighting / 80 HP

Ability: Lost Stick

If a Mighty Leek Tool Card is attached to this Pokemon, you may attack one of your opponent's benched Pokemon instead of their active. (Apply weakness and resistance to bench Pokemon.)

[F][F] Leek Slap 100

Weakness: Psychic
Resistance: -
Retreat Cost: 1
Picture

Mighty Leek

Trainer / Item / Tool

The attacks of the [F] Pokemon this card is attached to cost [F] less, except for Pokemon with a Rule Box.
Picture
COMMENTS

Galarian Farfetch'd doesn't go anywhere without his Mighty Leek. You won't be playing him without his Leek either. Together, the whacky duo is a Dedenne and Crobat killing machine!
ENTRY #13 - KingMonkey5

Mudsdale

Stage-1 / Fighting / 160 HP

Ability: Rumbling Earth

Once during your turn (before your attack), you may look at the top 3 cards of your deck. Choose one and put it into your hand. Discard the others.

[F][F][F] Thundering Hooves 100
This attack does 20 damage to each of your opponent's benched Pokémon for each of your Mudbray and Mudsdale in play.

Weakness: Grass
Resistance: -
Retreat Cost: 4

Courtney

Trainer / Supporter

Switch a Basic, Stage 1, Stage 2, Mega, or VMAX [F] Pokémon on your bench with a [F] Pokémon in your discard pile of the same evolution stage. (Any attached cards, damage counters, turns in play, and any other effects remain on the new Pokémon.) (Any pre-evolutions of the benched Pokémon are discarded.)
COMMENTS

Mudsdale is a combination support and spread Pokémon that can dig through your deck and deal additional damage to your opponent's bench for each additional Mudbray and Mudsdale.

Courtney is a chaotic card that has some interesting toolbox potential. The limitation on evolution stages is designed to prevent instant evolved Pokémon (for example T1 fossil lock) and avoids Lv. X's, LEGENDs, and BREAKS entirely because those rely on more than one card being in play. This card can open up new deck possibilities because it is a way to get evolved Pokémon into play without needing to include their pre-evolutions in the deck. Mudsdale can help fill your discard with Pokémon to get into play with Courtney.
ENTRY #14 - rabidragon

Poliwrath

Stage-2 / Fighting / 150 HP

Ability: Water Absorb

Prevent all damage done to this Pokemon by attacks from your opponent’s [W] Pokemon.

[F][C][C][C] Focus Punch 180
If this Pokemon was damaged by an attack during your opponent’s last turn, this attack does nothing.

Weakness: Grass
Resistance: -
Retreat Cost: 2
Picture

Possessed [W] Necklace

Trainer / Item / Tool

Attach this Pokemon Tool card to 1 of your opponent’s Pokemon with a Rule Box that doesn’t already have a Pokemon Tool card attached to it.

The Pokemon this card is attached to is now a [W] Pokemon in addition to its existing types, and its attacks cost [C] more.
COMMENTS

I like when the TCG prints Pokemon with their secondary type, and I have done so here by creating Poliwrath as a Fighting-type!

Water Absorb is an upgraded version of one of Poliwrath's actual abilities in the video games.

Focus Punch is a modified take on an attack which has only been used once back in the TCG’s Diamond/Pearl era.  Here, the attack is strong and the energy cost is steep, but the 3 [C] portion allows it to work with Triple Acceleration Energy.  In Expanded, its attack can be used for just the one [F] using Politoed's King's Song ability.

I wanted to make a Tool card that you could attach to your opponent’s Pokemon; this was briefly seen years ago with Team Flare Hyper Gear cards.  I envision this as perhaps the first in a line of type-specific tools of this kind.

The intention would be to attach the tool card to your opponent’s Pokemon, making it Water-type; that keeps Poliwrath safe from damage; which in turn allows its Focus Punch attack to land.
ENTRY #15 - Memeinstein [PLAYER's CHOICE]

Regirock

Basic / Fighting / 120 HP

Ability: Solved Riddle

Once during your turn, before you attack, if you have Wailord, Regice, Registeel, and Relicanth on your bench you may take a prize card. You cannot use more than 1 Solved Riddle ability per turn.

[F][C][C] Ancient Beatdown 50+
This attack does 50 more damage for each Regice, Registeel, Regidrago, Regileki, and Regigigas on your bench. If you have all 5 of them on your bench this attack may be used for [F].

Weakness: Grass
Resistance: -
Retreat Cost: 3

A Time Long Forgotten

Trainer / Stadium

Attacks from Pokemon in play, both yours and your opponent's, deal 30 more damage and are not affected by weakness or resistance.
COMMENTS

The idea behind the Regirock's ability is an homage to RSE when to be able to to catch the at the time 3 regis you needed a wailord in the front of your party and a relicant'h in the back. The attack of the regirock is to show the power of the Regis while working in unison.

The stadium is designed to show the time before Regigigas pulled the continents together to create the world we know today. It says in books in sinnoh that in this time pokemon where more ferocious in their fighting but, they where not using attacks like they do now. More or less it was just biting and kicking so there seems to be no defined typing to the attacks nullifying weakness/resistance
ENTRY #16 - Complexitease

Demigorgoon V

Basic / Fighting / 220 HP

Ability: Entwined Embrace

If Energy attached to this Pokemon is discarded by effects of your opponent's attack, abilities or trainer cards discard an energy from one of your opponents Pokemon

[F][F] Ghoulish Grasp 100
Your opponent's Active Pokemon is now Confused. If that Pokemon leaves the active spot during your opponents next turn, put 10 Damage counters on that Pokemon.

Weakness: Psychic
Resistance: Darkness
Retreat Cost: 1
Picture

Vigorous Virtue

Trainer / Stadium

The Attacks of [F] Pokemon aren't affected by any effects on your opponents Active Pokemon
Picture
COMMENTS

The pokemon is a drawing i did many years ago:) . i did not have time to come up with much of a drawing idea for the stadium, got that scratched up quick!  Looking forward to seeing whats out there!! :)
